Information We Collect and How We Collect It

We do not collect any information automatically through our website, social media, or games. That includes usage data, cookies, web beacons, pixel tags, or anything like that. Because we do not collect this information, we also do not use third party integrations used to process it, such as Google Analytics.

The only information we will receive from you is the information you provide us, either through emails addressed to us (ending in @carbonandkay.com or @littleknowngalaxy.com) or through our social media channels. When you interact with us on our social media accounts, such as Discord, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Twitter, the information collected is governed by the privacy policies of the relevant social media platform.

Most of those interactions will remain on the platform on which they occur. There is one primary exception: Where you use these channels to report bugs or issues you find within our game. When you do, we will record the information related to the bug or issue alongside the identifier you used to provide that notification, such as your Discord ID or email address. This information will be retained purely to follow up with you about the bug or issue, and it will not be shared with third parties.

Additionally, we may also create a mailing list for anyone interested in following development and updates to our games. If you sign up for this mailing list by providing us with your email address, we will retain that information to provide those mailers. If at any time you wish to unsubscribe from the mailing list, you may contact us using the email address posted above to be removed or by following the link contained in each email. To resubscribe, you will need to provide your email address again.

Children Under the Age of 16

While our game is intended for all ages, we request that no children under age 16 submit a bug report to us without including written parental consent. If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child under 16 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information. If you believe we might have any information from or about a child under 16, please contact us at contact@carbonandkay.com. This policy in compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act and Article 6(1)(c) of the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”).

Some features of the Services are served by third parties. Social media platform providers that you link to via the Games.

Our Social Accounts: When you interact with us on our social media accounts, for example, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Twitter, the information collected is governed by the privacy policies of the relevant social media platform.

Where, How and How Long We Store Your Information

Carbon & Kay is based in the United States. As such, the limited information you provide is collected and stored in the U.S. By using the Services, you authorize us to transfer, store and process your information in the United States and any other country where we operate.

All personal data collected via the Services is stored securely using third-party vendors and hosting partners who implement industry standard security measures.

We keep your information only for the length of time necessary to fulfill the purposes for which the information was collected. If applicable laws require us to store your information for a longer period, then we will keep your information for the period of time required by law. When it is no longer necessary or required for us to retain your data, we will delete it.

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet and mobile platforms is not completely secure. Although we do our best to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information transmitted through our Services.
